Infiniti has seen brighter days, but it’s embarking on a radical transformation that will see the luxury brand enter new segments and offer fresh products. The 2025 QX80 kickstarted the revolution, and it’s building momentum with the unveiling of the 2026 QX60.

The three-row crossover is Infiniti’s best-selling vehicle, and it’s been given a facelift that incorporates a number of cues from their flagship SUV. The changes are immediately apparent as the QX60 adopts a bold new grille with angled lines inspired by the intersection of shapes in a serene bamboo forest. It makes a more impactful statement, and the grille is accompanied by a three-dimensional Infiniti emblem, which is illuminated.

While the grille stands out, it isn’t the only change, as the front bumper sports larger intakes and a less fussy design. Elsewhere, there are updated daytime running lights with a ‘digital piano key’ motif inspired by the QX80.
The updates continue aft of the A-pillar as the lower door treatment has been revamped to give the vehicle a “longer, more horizontal appearance.” More notably, the crossover rides on a fancier set of kicks as the usual 18-inch wheels have been replaced by new 20-inchers on the Pure trim. Higher-end variants also sport restyled wheels.

The busy rear end has been banished as there’s a less cluttered rump for 2026. The liftgate-mounted Infiniti emblem has been eliminated, while there’s a more subtle AWD logo, now located next to the QX60 moniker. Designers also reimagined the bumper as it now features a flowing design with extended paintwork as well as low-mounted reflectors.
Speaking of paint, customers will find ten selections, including a newly available Deep Emerald color. The range-topping QX60 Autograph goes a step further with a two-tone design as the roof and upper body are dressed in Black Obsidian. The flagship trim also offers a Graphite Shadow and Mineral Black exterior that echoes a combination found on the QX80.
During a preview last month, Infiniti officials also pointed out a handful of smaller changes. These include a shift away from bright chrome as the 2026 model has a darker and more subtle finish, which looks modern and sophisticated. Customers who shell out big bucks for the Autograph trim will also be reminded of this thanks to new badging on the beltline.

A Classy Cabin With Google Built-In

Interior changes largely fly under the radar, but there’s a new Stone Gray upholstery option. The Autograph goes a step further thanks to a new quilting pattern on the seats as well as black open-pore ash wood trim with a stylish metal inlay.
While the 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster carries over, the 12.3-inch infotainment system now has Google built-in. This provides access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play store.
Sticking with technology, the Bose premium audio system gives way to two Klipsch setups. Luxe and Sport trims have a 16-speaker audio system with four titanium dome tweeters, a subwoofer, and a 12-channel amplifier with 600 watts of power. The Autograph ups the ante with a Reference Premiere system that adds four headrest-mounted speakers as well as a 24-channel amp.

});
The latter system also has an Individual Audio function, which enables certain sounds, such as phone calls or navigation information, to only be played on driver-facing speakers. This promises to maximize privacy as well as make everyone’s experience more enjoyable.
While most of the changes are welcome, Infiniti has removed leather seats from all trims besides the Autograph, which retains semi-aniline leather hides. Pure, Luxe, and Sport trims now come equipped with TailorFit upholstery, which is composed of 65% recycled materials. It promises to be softer and more durable than traditional imitation leather, and it made a good first impression during our preview. That being said, it’s not the real deal, and this could put some people off.
Aside from the model year updates, the QX60 comes nicely equipped with heated power front seats and a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel. They’re joined by a tri-zone climate control system, a nine-speaker audio system, and a wireless smartphone charger.
ProPILOT Assist 2.1 Delivers A Hands-Free Driving Experience
Customers with long commutes will want to splurge on the Autograph and its newly available ProPILOT Assist 2.1 system. It allows for hands-free driving on compatible highways as the system handles acceleration, braking, and steering
Luxe and Sport trims have a less capable ProPILOT Assist system, which doesn’t allow for hands-free driving. As for the Pure, it’s relegated to basic cruise control.
Aside from ProPILOT Assist 2.1, the 2026 QX60 gains a more advanced camera system. Luxe and above trims have a 3D Around View Monitor that now comes with Moving Object Detection. Customers will also find new Front Wide and Invisible Hood views. The latter enables drivers to see what’s beneath the vehicle, which makes it easier to avoid obstacles or lineup with tracks at the car wash.
A 2.0-Liter Turbo With 268 HP
Michael Gauthier / Carscoops
Power comes from a familiar 2.0-liter VC-Turbo four-cylinder engine that produces 268 hp (200 kW / 272 PS) and 286 lb-ft (387 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a nine-speed automatic transmission, which can be paired with front- or all-wheel drive.
While the engine carries over, Infiniti fine-tuned its sound to deliver a more engaging and sporty note. The company also highlighted a best-in-class towing capacity of 6,000 lbs (2,722 kg) as well as an estimated fuel economy rating of up to 22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined.
Arrives This Summer
The 2026 Infiniti QX60 will arrive at U.S. dealerships this summer, with pricing will be announced closer to launch. While officials weren’t ready to talk numbers, they noted the model is made in Smyrna, Tennessee, and features a US-built engine.
This should help to limit the impact of tariffs, although we wouldn’t be surprised if pricing climbs. While that remains to be seen, the current model starts at $50,200 before a $1,350 destination fee.
