- The facelifted Mercedes C-Class has been spied wearing less camouflage than before.
- This is a relatively minor update that includes new starry lights and revised mirrors.
- Besides exterior styling tweaks, we can expect interior changes and powertrain updates.
Spy photographers have caught the facelifted Mercedes C-Class on multiple occasions, but the camouflage is starting to come off as a debut nears. This reveals a relatively minor update that appears to be more focused on style than substance.

While the front end is still heavily disguised, the C-Class will become the latest model to feature starry headlights. These classless additions shout ‘I bought a Mercedes’ and are about as subtle as a sledgehammer. Aside from that, we can expect a lightly revised grille and a new front bumper.

The rest of the car largely carries over, but the mirrors are getting new C-shaped turn signals. Speaking of illumination, the only change out back appears to be new taillight graphics with a star pattern.
The latest batch of pictures only provides a glimpse of the interior, but we can expect a handful of minor updates. These are expected to include a new steering wheel and an updated infotainment system. The latter could run the fourth-generation MBUX system, which recently debuted on the CLA alongside the new Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS). This provides extensive AI integration as well as a new MBUX Virtual Assistant, which promises to revolutionize the relationship between vehicle and driver.

Powertrain updates should be relatively minor, but Euro 7 emission standards are slated to go into effect next year, so there could be a handful of changes. This remains to be seen, but the US-spec model currently offers a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 255 hp (190 kW / 258 PS) and 295 lb-ft (400 Nm) of torque.
In Germany, there’s a dizzying array of options including a 1.5-liter mild hybrid with outputs of 168 hp (125 kW / 170 PS) and 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS). There are also multiple diesel options and plug-in hybrids.
