While some divisions require fast pursuit cars, others need smaller, more nimble vehicles to maneuver through busy urban areas. Italian Police Demand Probe Into Alfa Romeo\u2019s Tonale Cruiser<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Naturally, the Fiat 500e now sports the classic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/Greece\/\">Greek<\/a> police livery, complete with iridescent blue decals on its white body and strobe lights atop the roof. The headlight graphics and hubcaps hint that this is the base-spec model, not the fully-loaded La Prima trim.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>What is interesting, is that the procurement department chose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2020\/10\/2021-fiat-500-31-is-the-electric-minis-most-practical-variant-with-a-third-suicide-door\/\">the Fiat 500e 3+1 bodystyle<\/a>, which features an additional rear-hinged door on the passenger side. While Fiat initially designed this asymmetrical layout for easier access to the backseat for young families, in this case, it may prove more useful for transporting suspects, provided they can squeeze into the tiny Fiat, of course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Not Exactly a Pursuit Car<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>        <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Fiat-500e-Police-Cars-Greece-2-copy.jpg\" data-type=\"inarticle-image-block\"> <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\">\n<p>                    <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" src=\"\" alt=\" The Least Scary Police Car Ever? This setup allows the 0-100 km\/h (0-62 mph) sprint in 9 seconds, which should be more than adequate for urban patrols. If performance were the top priority, however, the fleet might have included <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/12\/2024-abarth-500e-review-a-fun-but-way-too-expensive-electric-sports-hatch\/\">at least one Abarth 500e<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>More importantly, the 42 kWh battery pack offers a WLTP range of 321 km (199 miles) between charges, or up to 460 km (286 miles) in urban environments. As a result, Fiat has shifted focus, moving away from an all-EV lineup and introducing a mild-<a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/12\/next-gen-fiat-500-confirmed-for-2032-production-will-remain-in-italy\/\">hybrid version, the 500 Ibrida<\/a>, which is expected to debut later this year.
