Roughly a year later, Honda\u2019s then global executive vice president confirmed plans for a new sports car due in 2027 or 2028. At the time, he said \u201cWe may not call it an NSX, but it\u2019s kind of an NSX-type of vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>More: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2024\/08\/acura-confirms-electric-nsx-successor-for-2027-2028-launch\/\">Acura Confirms Electric NSX Successor For 2027 Or 2028<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>While we haven\u2019t heard much about the car since then, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.globaldata.com\/\">GlobalData<\/a> is reporting it\u2019s still coming and is expected to ride on the 0 Series platform. The dedicated electric vehicle architecture is set to underpin an assortment of upcoming vehicles including the Honda 0 SUV and 0 Saloon.<\/p>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article\"><\/div>\n<div id=\"taboola-mid-article-thumbnails-organic\"><\/div>\n<p>Besides the electric supercar, we can expect a facelifted ZDX to arrive in 2027. It could eventually be replaced by an all-new model, which is developed and produced in-house.<\/p>\n<p>        <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Acura-ZDX.jpg\" data-type=\"inarticle-image-block\"> <\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\">\n<p>                    <img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazy \" src=\"\" alt=\" There\u2019s A New NSX In Acura\u2019s Future With Honda Underpinnings\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" data-src=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Acura-ZDX-1024x576.jpg\" data-type=\"inarticle-image\" \/><\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>        <\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>Sticking with crossovers, the redesigned <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/tag\/acura-mdx\/\">MDX<\/a> will reportedly debut in the second-half of 2027 and go into production by early 2028. A new RDX could arrive in 2027, get a facelift in 2030, and bow out in 2033. It\u2019s expected to ride on the Honda HA platform and offer a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine as well as a hybrid option.<\/p>\n<p>2027 could also see the company introduce a new TLX. It would battle the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/04\/new-lexus-es-drops-the-grille-and-embraces-electrification\/\">redesigned Lexus ES<\/a>, but little else is known about it at this point.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of cars, an Integra successor could arrive in mid-2028 as a 2029 model. The follow-up shouldn\u2019t be much of a surprise as the current car finished 2024 as Acura\u2019s third best-selling vehicle in the United States.<\/p>\n<p>That brings us to their newest entry, which is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carscoops.com\/2025\/02\/embargo-acura-adx-puts-the-affordable-back-into-entry-level-luxury\/\">ADX<\/a>. GlobalData suggests production could be moved to the United States, but this largely depends on how the tariff situation pans out. Regardless of what happens, a facelifted model is expected to arrive in 2028.
